FASH Forward is on a mission to save 1 million items from landfill by 2030. FASH Repair is a project to accelerate this mission. Launching in UCC and MTU for semester one, with the support of Cork City Council.
46 Million Tonnes
The amount of discarded clothing that arrived to Chile from Europe, Asia and the Americas last year (National Geographic, 2024).
Discarded clothing results in millions of litres of water and energy from production and transportation going to waste.
Keeping clothing in circulation through repair means the resources that were used to produce them don't go to waste.
